	Aging Firefighters Sound the Alarm (01/16/2012) As the Goshen Fire Department (GFD) begins it’s 67th year, we find ourselves with 20 members on our active roster.  Of those 20 individuals, there are 13 men and 7 women who volunteer their time to the department - a ratio of 65% to 35%.  The average age of those members is 41 with 9 individuals, or 45%, being over the age of 40.  The number of Goshen firefighters over the age of 50 is 7, or 35%.

	Fast Action Saves Home (01/03/2012) At 5AM this morning, Goshen firefighters responded to the home of Ashley and Justin LeBeau at 60 Main Street for a report of fire in the walls. The house, which is located next door to the Goshen fire station, is a 1 1/2 story Cape style house with a detached garage that is set back from the roadway by approximately 100 feet.
	Fire Causes $500,000 in Damages to Local Contractor  (04/02/2011) The mutual aid call for Goshen and Chesterfield firefighters came at 00:06.  The request was simple; respond to 6 Depot Road in Williamsburg with one engine each and manpower to assist Williamsburg Fire at a reported structure fire.
	Head on Collision Sends One to Hospital; Closes Down Route 9 (04/01/2011) A head on collision between two cars early Friday morning sent one driver to Cooley Dickinson Hospital.  The crash occurred just below the straighaway east of the Whale Inn curve on Route 9.
