GOSHEN - Goshen police and fire personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident that sent the driver to Baystate Medical Center with minor injuries.
Goshen Police Chief Jeff Hewes said that Daniel Hine, 18, of Worthington, was traveling west on West Street at about 8:05 when the car he was driving left the road, briefly entered a ditch and then flipped. Hine was transported by Highland Ambulance to Baystate Medical Center for treatment.
A passenger in the car, Joshua Tanner of Worthington, wasn't injured.
Hewes said that Hine was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating with a suspended registration, failure to wear a seat belt and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
